Stephen McLeod, M.D., Named Journal Editor, Steps Down from Board


American Board of Ophthalmology Director Stephen McLeod, M.D., the Theresa M. and Wayne M. Caygill, MD, Distinguished Professor and chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at UC San Francisco, has been appointed editor-in-chief of Ophthalmology, the official journal of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. To fulfill the duties of his new role, Dr. McLeod will not return to the ABO in 2017. The Board thanks him for his service and commitment to the mission of the Board, and wishes him well at the journal.
