The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery recently named Thomas W. Samuelson, M.D., of Minnesota, as its new president. A diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Samuelson is the current vice president of ASCRS and the OSN Glaucoma Section Editor. He specializes in the treatment of glaucoma and anterior segment disorders. The ABO extends its congratulations to Dr. Samuelson on this appointment.
