In advance of National Doctors Day on March 30th, the ABO created this video to celebrate the passion, pride, and professionalism of its diplomate community. While much has changed over the course of the Board’s 101-year history, what hasn’t changed is the commitment by ophthalmologists to provide the best possible care for their patients.
Here are some other ways the Board is recognizing diplomate achievement:
The Web Badge: All diplomates participating in MOC can download a custom webpage for their practice websites or social media profiles. Each badge links directly to the ABO verification page for that diplomate's certification status. The web badge is generated through the Public Profile section of the MOC Status Page. The Public Profile tool is an optional profile that can help prospective patients find your practice information. On the Public Profile, you can add your photo, educational background, and practice contact information. Log into your MOC Status Page and click "Public Profile" to update your information and claim your badge.
The Diplomate Pin: Coming to diplomate mailboxes this month, our pride pin is one small way we’re recognizing your achievement while helping you show your peers and patients that you’re board certified. If you haven’t updated your mailing address with us recently, please do so now to ensure you receive your pin.
