The American Board of Ophthalmology congratulates diplomates Philip J. Ferrone, MD, and Jeffrey S. Heier, MD, who will assume leadership posts of their respective subspecialty organizations. Dr. Ferrone has been named president of the American Society of Retina Specialists while Dr. Heier will become the next president of the Retina Society.
