This summer, K. David Epley, MD, a Director of the American Board of Ophthalmology, will assume the office of President of the American Eye Study Club. Formed in 1956 by a group of leading ophthalmologists, the American Eye Study Club meets annually to exchange ideas and discuss new developments in a scientific and social setting. Dr. Epley, a pediatric ophthalmologist from Kirkland, WA, will begin his term at the end of the next American Eye Study Club Annual Meeting to be held August 1-6.
