An online professional network for physicians has rated Bascom Palmer Eye Institute’s ophthalmology residency program the best in the United States. The new Doximity Residency Navigator rankings were compiled using survey responses from board-certified ophthalmologists around the country. Bascom Palmer’s residency program was also ranked #1 in the nation by Ophthalmology Times. The American Board of Ophthalmology congratulates the many board-certified diplomates who've worked to establish a supportive learning environment at Bascom Palmer, including ABO Director Steven J. Gedde, MD, who serves as the institute's vice chair of education and residency program director.
