ABO Diplomate Wins Deal on 'Shark Tank'

Congratulations to Greensboro, NC diplomate Anika Goodwin, MD, who scored a $100,000 business deal for her magnetic eyelash company on the popular ABC TV show Shark Tank. Dr. Goodwin appeared on the April 9 to pitch her company, OpulenceMD Beauty, which she developed in 2019 and launched in 2020. Jewelry designer Kendra Scott invested $100,000 for a 20% stake in the board-certified ophthalmologist's business.
