New Directory Makes it Easy to Locate CME and SACME Opportunities

The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) launched a new Continuing Certification Directory this month. The site hosts CME opportunities that have been approved by one or more ABMS Member Boards for Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credit, including the American Board of Ophthalmology.

The ABMS Continuing Certification Directory provides access to high quality, practice-relevant, accredited CME activities. You can easily browse activities that the ABO has approved for both CME and Self-Assessment CME (SACME) credit. In addition to courses in general medicine and ophthalmology, the directory also contains programs focused on emerging and critical topics, such as patient safety, quality improvement, and physician well-being and burnout. In brief—it’s a quick way to find qualified Lifelong Learning and Self-Assessment MOC activities.

There is no cost to access the directory; however, the sponsors of individual activities may charge a fee for completion of the activity. Click here to view all CME and SACME opportunities available to ABO diplomates. You can also view a listing of ABO activities and live events approved for SACME credit on the ABO's website.
