How-To: Getting Started in MOC for 2017

Registration for all 2017 MOC activities is now open. Diplomates can manage and access activities using their Diplomate Status Page on the ABO website. Log into your Status Page today to:

  • View a simple, color-coded grid that is home to all activities and activity progress, and see your status on each activity, along with where you are in your 10-year certificate timeline.

  • Access required MOC activities as well as optional tools such as the Patient Experience of Care Survey and the CME Tracker.

  • Create a public-facing Profile Page to share more information about yourself with your patients and link your Board Certification achievement directly to your website or social media pages.

  • Participate in the new Quarterly Questions exam alternative pilot. This pilot, officially launching April 2017, delivers questions to diplomates on a quarterly basis. One section includes the selection of five journal articles, which you can begin selecting now.

  • Attest to CME completion with the simple click of a button.

  • Update your diplomate record, including your email, phone number, and current medical license information.

  • For Track 2 diplomates, submit your 2017 annual fee.
